Connect Old Technology with New Technology using a Gateway
A gateway is used to connect two different transmission protocols together.
In many industries enhanced security is not an option –
it’s mandatory.
In the case of VoIP telephony, a gateway is used to connect an IPBX with a PSTN line, or a Legacy PBX with a SIP Trunk. You can also use a gateway for:
- Least cost routing
- SIP Trunk backup solution
- Backup for a hosted PBX
- Lower the PBX server’s load
